Our first event was held on Sunday 5th July 2015, the AIRC Donegal Riding Clubs held a 2 Phase league the first of which was at Gordons Bay.  We held a Dressage Phase & a Cross Country Phase.  The weather was beautiful and we had a good turnout of 40+ competitors, catering was provided by a mobile BBQ from the “kitchen ” in Letterkenny.  The cross country was held over a 1850 metre course of 23 fences of varying height for each of the 3 grades.  First aid was kindly covered by the Red Cross Ambulance service,  a great day was had by all and we look forward to running the same event again in 2016.
